[Hiring] Dual Credit Lecturer or Adjunct Instructor in Criminal Justice @Sul Ross State University

Role Description

• SRSU seeks qualified, adjunct/part-time instructors to teach dual credit students enrolled in freshman- and sophomore-level university courses in Criminal Justice.
• Teach online, synchronous courses at a variety of days and times.
• Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
• Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines.
• Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
• Position is security sensitive. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.

• The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
• The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
