As an adjunct faculty member, you’ll provide program instruction in an online format, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies, and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. Qualifications

• Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Leadership, Elementary Education, Learning and Teaching, Teaching Innovation, Literacy, Reading, or related field AND valid state teacher certification.
• Minimum: Masters in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Literacy, Reading, or related field AND valid state teacher certification with an endorsement in reading or a reading specialist certificate AND two areas of exceptional expertise.
• All instructors must have a minimum of five years of experience as a K-12 educator.

Requirements

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom.
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes.
• Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
