Role Description
We are looking for a Data Apprenticeship Instructor to work full time to deliver our best-in-class Data Analytics and Business Analytics workshops to apprenticeship learners on our Level 4 Data Analyst programme and our Level 3 Data Technician programme.

This role is dedicated to the delivery of workshops, delivered between 09:00 - 17:00 GMT.

The majority of workshops will be 3.5 or 4.5 hours long (including set-up and wrap-up time).

8 hour hackathon workshops delivered less frequently throughout the programmes.

Infrequently you may be asked to work outside core UK working hours due to the global nature of Decoded's client base.
Qualifications

A passionate technologist with over 2 years of experience teaching data analytics, data science, computer science, software engineering or similar in a school, university or higher level.

Confident coding in Python.

An excellent and adaptable communicator, verbally and in writing.

Self-motivated and a problem solver who takes initiative.

Passionate about technology and learning.

Requirements

Comprehensively understand the apprenticeship curriculums and learning objectives of our programmes.

Reviewing exercises and other learning materials before a workshop.

Learning about your learners and the businesses they work for.

Familiarising yourself with the course structure and content, proactively filling gaps in your knowledge.

Maintaining a continual learning mindset and strive to advance your knowledge in your specialist domains.

Facilitation skills and timekeeping.

Classroom management with a professional and energetic atmosphere.

Technical issues using Zoom/Teams, Mural, Menti and other key tools.

Decode and communicate complex concepts and principles with energy, focus and patience.

Engaging and captivating the attention of a virtual room of busy professionals.

Facilitating the learning journey for your audience, ensuring inclusivity and collaboration.

Contributing to training programme development projects by providing SME input and peer review of content.

Producing materials to support learners with stretch needs, and instructions for technical content to support learning.

Salary
Β£40,000-Β£50,000 per annum
