Role Description

We're looking for someone located in Jacksonville or Northeast FL. They will provide specific education to providers and all support staff through a variety of mediums including:

• Direct interactive learning sessions individually or in group settings
• Written guides and protocols

They build relationships with the clinical and clerical teams to ensure open communication for questions concerning the appropriate elements of medical records. Additionally, they will:

• Provide structure and content as well as the assignment of the appropriate codes as supported
• Facilitate training, education, and support to Providers and staff based on detailed analysis of:
• General or provider specific trends
• Focus recommendations from pre and post claims submission data
• Carrier coverage updates
• Denial trending
• Select key topics or direct requests from Providers or support teams
• Provide support to all areas of Management, internal Coding and Billing teams, and other departments as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in coding and documentation guidelines for CMS Guidelines
• Ability to develop training curriculums, handbooks, and resource material
• Proficiency in coordinating and facilitating coding and billing education and training
• Technical knowledge through the use of industry-based applications

Requirements

• Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and/or County laws and regulations related to coding and documentation guidelines
• Perform research for coding related issues that arise
• Deliver content professionally and customize to specific audiences
• Support multistate golives and follow-up education

Benefits

• Compensation Range: $58,165.00 to $87,247.00
• The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting
• Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs
