Role Description

The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for healthcare professionals, with a focus on clinical skills and competencies.

• Develop comprehensive training programs for healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health staff, to enhance clinical skills and competencies.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop learning objectives aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Design engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and hands-on workshops, to facilitate effective learning experiences.
• Deliver training sessions in various formats, such as in-person workshops, virtual webinars, and on-the-job coaching, ensuring content is delivered effectively to meet diverse learning styles.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and continuously improve training programs based on results and participant feedback.
• Provide individualized coaching and support to healthcare professionals to address performance gaps and enhance clinical competencies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in healthcare education and training, and incorporate relevant updates into training programs.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as HR, Quality Assurance, and Clinical Operations, to ensure alignment of training initiatives with organizational objectives and priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes to track progress and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Act as a resource and mentor for new hires, providing guidance and support to facilitate their integration into the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical practice.
• 3 years of experience in healthcare education, training, or clinical instruction.
• Strong knowledge of clinical protocols, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Certification in healthcare education or training (e.g., Certified Healthcare Trainer).
