Role Description

We are looking to hire a part-time Remote CATIA Instructor, preferably from the Seattle area but other locations will be considered. The ideal candidate will have working experience in a field using CATIA V5 Tubing. The training is typically conducted by industry experienced design/engineer and the course is tailored to the specific needs of the student; this can be done with our Online CAD Mentoring Program from home.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years' work experience in the field of design and/or engineering, directly involved with the application of CAD tools to create 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Professional experience with CATIA V6.
• Professional experience with CATIA V5 helpful.
• Understanding of and commitment to teaching, mission, and philosophy.
• Innovative, flexible, and positive teaching style and understanding the needs of students from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to integrate computer applications into teaching.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program.
• Ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with students, peers, staff, and administrators.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
