Role Description
As a Career Readiness Advisor, your mission is to guide and empower students in their journey from education to employment, by helping them identify their strengths, interests, and career goals. Through personalized practice interviews and coaching, you ensure successful transitions into the workforce, fostering confident and well-prepared allied health professionals.

Interview Preparation: Prepare students for the interview process, including practice interviews and formal resume conversations.

Real-World Expectations: Clearly set expectations for real-world interviews and lead practice sessions with at least 5 students per day. These sessions typically range from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours per conversation.

Video Interview Facilitation: Set the stage for video interviews by introducing the call flow and expectations, in addition to facilitating a full mock interview experience.

Individualized Action Plans: Clearly identify and articulate unique action plans for each student to enhance their interviewing abilities.

Professionalism and Control: Demonstrate enthusiasm, rapport, and professionalism in tone of voice and pace. Maintain conversation control, staying on topic and ensuring appropriate call lengths.

Collaboration and Communication: Participate in and contribute to team collaboration and communication. Engage with team members on camera and in digital workspaces and virtual events.

High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Ability to deliver outstanding student service.

Skills β professionalism, customer service, attention to detail, rapport building, and drive.

Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.

Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role.
Requirements
-
Any degree or equivalent experience and/or strong or advanced proficiency in any of the above required skills/experience.

2+ years in management, recruiting/human resources, or education.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams.

Other skills or abilities β professional/career coaching/mentorship, typing, resume writing/editing, and video presence.
