As an AU RTO Assessor & Marker, youβll play an important role in supporting Australian learners by reviewing assessments, evaluating competency, and ensuring submissions meet required standards and compliance expectations. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced trainers, assessors, educators, markers, or industry professionals who enjoy structured, detail-focused work and want to apply their expertise in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and assess learner submissions and supporting evidence.

Mark assessments accurately against competency standards.

Provide clear and constructive written feedback.

Maintain assessment quality and documentation standards.

Apply Australian compliance and assessment requirements.

Use LMS platforms and online systems effectively.

Ensure consistency and accuracy in assessment outcomes.

Complete assessments within required timeframes.

Support continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience.

Background in training, education, assessment, marking, compliance, or related fields.

Strong written English and documentation skills.

High attention to detail and consistency.

Comfortable using LMS or online learning systems.
-
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Strong professional judgment and evaluation skills.

Willingness to learn Australian standards and frameworks.

Open to additional training or upskilling if required.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:

TAESS00019 or TAE40116 (or equivalent).
-
Relevant education, training, assessment, or industry certifications.
Industry Experience:
-
Experience assessing for an Australian RTO.

Familiarity with competency-based assessment models.
-
Experience within Australian education, training, or vocational environments.
Preferred Professional Backgrounds:

Early Childhood Education & Care.

Trades and Vocational Education.
Additional Advantages:
