Role Description
The Associate Learning Professional will deliver virtual classroom training and blended learning instruction, utilizing current adult learning principles and theories to ensure the transfer of knowledge and enhance job performance. This role requires an entry-level knowledge of Velera products and services. Responsibilities include:

Develop collaborative relationships with various business units, subject matter experts, and L&OD staff to identify learning opportunities and gather source content for learning curriculum.

Facilitate technical virtual classroom programs.

Facilitate quarterly calendar class training for financial institutions on various topics regarding Velera solutions, systems, and services.

Deliver client-facing billable training sessions as required.

Provide regular updates to department management on the status of all development activities, completion of milestones, and potential conflicts.

Use a variety of training methods to engage participants and enhance learner retention and performance.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through observation, feedback, learner retention, and various assessment mechanisms.

Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate (ADDIE) blended learning that aligns with adult learning principles for new/existing clients.

Adhere to style guidelines and design standards that conform with Velera’s marketing brand for the development of all training materials.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Adult Learning, Education, or related course-work or equivalent training and/or experience.

Zero (0) to Two (2) years training and development experience, including needs analysis, program development, training delivery, and performance consulting required.

Experience with a learning management system.

Payment processing, Fiserv, FIS, Mastercard, Visa knowledge (preferred).

Display high vigilance of data security.

Demonstrated adult learning and ADDIE model principles.

Ability to travel as needed, 0-10%.
