Role Description

The University of Fredericton is expanding its MBA and business leadership programming and is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence professional and educator interested in developing and potentially teaching an AI-focused business course at the undergraduate or graduate level.

We are looking for individuals who can connect AI concepts to practical business, leadership, and organizational applications for non-technical learners. Candidates with experience in online teaching, curriculum development, executive education, consulting, or applied industry practice are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality AI course content that aligns with UFred academic standards
• Create clear, accurate, and engaging learning materials, including learning objectives, weekly modules, readings, and case studies
• Design assessments and learning activities that demonstrate the application of AI concepts, professional judgment, and analytical skills
• Collaborate with the Academic and Program Development teams to ensure consistency of course outcomes, structure, and design
• Participate in course reviews by providing expert feedback to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Ensure all content meets accessibility standards and supports diverse learners in an online environment

Qualifications

• Graduate-level credentials in a relevant discipline (Ph.D. preferred)
• Minimum five years of teaching and/or industry experience
• Experience in course design, curriculum development, or executive training
• Demonstrated expertise in applied AI, leadership, and emerging technologies
• The ability to translate AI concepts into practical business applications and real-world decision-making contexts
• Current industry, consulting, or leadership experience that connects theory to practice
