[Hiring] Apprenticeship Onboarding Officer @qa

Role Description

This is a remote-based role but must be commutable to the Birmingham office for training and occasional onsite workshops and sessions.

As an Apprenticeship Onboarding Officer, you'll play an important role in helping learners successfully begin their apprenticeship journey with QA. Your job is to guide apprentices and their employers through the onboarding process, ensuring they have the information, support, and documentation needed to get started.

You'll take ownership of supporting learners through the onboarding process by:

• Managing a caseload of apprentices from initial application through to their programme start date.
• Conducting enrolment calls with learners and employers, explaining the apprenticeship journey and setting clear expectations.
• Guiding learners through the information and documentation to successfully enrol.
• Ensuring learner records and enrolment documentation are accurate, complete, and submitted in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Delivering against operational KPIs, deadlines, and service level agreements.
• Providing a positive onboarding experience for learners, line managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Identifying potential delays or risks and escalating these appropriately to keep onboarding on track.
• Working closely with sales teams and colleagues to ensure clear communication and a smooth transition into learning.

The onboarding experience helps set the tone for that journey. At QA, you'll help learners and employers navigate that first stage, ensuring they understand the process, know what's expected, and feel supported before their programme begins.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, administration, onboarding, education, learner support, or another role where organisation, accuracy, and communication are essential.
• Previous experience within apprenticeships or education would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential.
