Role Description

The Apprenticeship Assessor supports apprentices from enrolment through to successful completion. The role conducts tripartite progress reviews, assesses evidence, provides constructive feedback and prepares apprentices for End-Point Assessment, while maintaining strong employer relationships and ensuring compliance with DWP and Ofsted requirements.

• Manage and monitor apprentice progress.
• Conduct effective tripartite reviews with apprentices and employers.
• Assess submitted evidence and provide timely, developmental feedback.
• Support apprentices in preparing for Gateway and End-Point Assessment.
• Provide guidance on Functional Skills in English and mathematics where required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the learning management system.
• Complete monthly progress reports.
• Ensure that all assessment and review activities meet relevant DWP funding, apprenticeship and Ofsted requirements.
• Build strong professional relationships with apprentices, employers and university colleagues.
• Contribute to apprentice inductions.
• Represent the Apprenticeships Hub at relevant School and University events.

Qualifications

• Proven management skills.
• Sound assessment judgement.
• Strong experience of apprenticeship delivery.
