[Hiring] Adjunct Professor – Fundamental Neuroscience @Viterbo University

Role Description

Viterbo University is seeking a part-time, one semester, adjunct instructor to teach Fundamental Neuroscience.

We are looking for someone to teach Fundamental Neuroscience which is an upper-level neuroscience course for 3 credits. This position is one semester only, this fall. Class timing is flexible and can be in-person, online, or blended.

Course Description:

• Explores central concepts of neural structure and function
• Emphasis on how mammalian nervous systems receive, process, and output information
• Content coverage includes:
• Neurophysiology
• Synaptic communication
• Brain development
• Sensation and perception
• Learning and memory
• And more

Qualifications

• Previous year teaching experience
• At least 18 credits of graduate work in neuroscience, molecular, and/or cellular biology
