Role Description

The Deputy Director plays a significant role in senior management. The primary roles of the National Program Office involve:

• Managing a portfolio of approximately 90 grantees.
• Providing technical assistance.
• Facilitating peer learning and networking.
• Disseminating research findings in a manner that is useful and accessible to stakeholders.
• Co-developing the program's strategy, policies, budgets, initiatives, and communications efforts.
• Implementing the program strategy and achieving program goals through coordinated achievements of program staff and multiple internal and external partners.
• Overseeing day-to-day program operations, including supervising program staff.
