[Hiring] 1 on 1 Lower Elementary Math Tutor @Think Academy US

Role Description

Think Academy specializes in providing online math education for students in North America. Our curriculum aligns with U.S. Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and supports students in lower elementary grades. We are currently seeking 1-on-1 Math Tutors to support project testing and ongoing curriculum development.

• Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 1-4 across North America, aligned with the CCSS framework.
• Teach in English using interactive and student-centered methods to promote engagement, strengthen core concept understanding, and address questions in real time.
• Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring well-structured and high-quality instruction.
• Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and continuous improvement.
• Bring patience and warmth when working with young learners, and adapt communication style to keep lower elementary students engaged and motivated.
• Paid training will be provided to help you get started.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Math, Education, or related fields are preferred.
• Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred.
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

Requirements

• Pay starts from $20–25/hr, with opportunities for promotion and salary increases twice a year.
