Role Description
The Citrix/Client Endpoint Engineer is responsible for the design, engineering, deployment, operational support, and continuous improvement of enterprise end‑user computing platforms, including:

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix DaaS, and supporting components such as StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, and Provisioning Services (PVS)

Citrix NetScaler / ADC Gateways, including authentication flows, FAS integration, secure remote access, MFA, and high‑availability designs
-
Azure Cloud PCs (Windows 365 and AVD) and integration with identity, security, and endpoint management platforms
-
Enterprise Windows client engineering, including Windows 10/11 image engineering, OS lifecycle management, patching strategies, driver management, and application compatibility

Windows Server environments (2008 R2–2022) supporting Citrix and endpoint services

Active Directory, Group Policy, and profile technologies, including Citrix Profile Management and FSLogix

PowerShell scripting and automation for deployment, configuration, monitoring, remediation, and reporting

VMware and virtualization platforms supporting hosted computing workloads
This role includes expanded desktop engineering and endpoint ownership, such as:

Designing, building, and maintaining standardized Windows images for physical, virtual, and cloud‑based devices

Managing application packaging, testing, deployment, and remediation within virtual and physical endpoint environments

Supporting endpoint performance optimization, stability, and user experience improvements

Participating in OS refresh, technology migrations, and modernization initiatives

Ensuring endpoint platforms meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including hardening, access controls, and integration with endpoint protection tools

Partnering with endpoint management teams on Intune, policy enforcement, device compliance, and configuration standards
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT-related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, MIS, Information Security) or equivalent experience

5 years of relevant work experience unless promotional criteria can be met

8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
-
EPIC Certified or Accredited (if required by role)
