Role Description
The Staff Salesforce DevOps Engineer is the technical leader for the release lifecycle, architecting a robust CI/CD framework for complex Salesforce deployments. This role drives advanced automation, self-service tooling, and integrates AI-driven development practices to ensure predictable, high-quality, and scalable releases. Crucially, this Staff Engineer will also leverage deep Salesforce development expertise to proactively diagnose and resolve complex technical issues impacting releases and production stability.
A day in the life (Responsibilities)

Architect and evolve the global CI/CD framework for complex Salesforce deployments, driving advanced automation and self-service tooling for scale.

Lead cross-application release management across Salesforce, NetSuite, AWS, and other Business Systems, ensuring high-velocity delivery in an enterprise ecosystem.

Provide technical leadership in resolving systemic deployment challenges and architecting environment strategies including refreshes and data access governance.

Act as a technical liaison for Business Systems, Engineering, and Operations, having an understanding of roadmaps and how their dependencies and schedules align.

Provide deep technical support for releases, incident response, and major system upgrades.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.

Deep expertise in Salesforce CI/CD architecture and enterprise-scale release management (e.g., Copado, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Architectural ownership of complex automation tooling and integration strategies across a diverse tech stack (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato, etc.).

Experience with version control tools (GitHub preferred) and at least one development language (e.g., Python or Java).

Proven experience utilizing Generative AI or Copilot-style tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) for improving development, testing, or operations workflows.
Requirements

Experience with any of the following Enterprise Applications: Netsuite, Workato, RevPro.

Direct experience leading high-risk migration projects, such as large-scale DocuSign/namespace changes.

Experience with performance testing tools, logging and monitoring (Datadog/Splunk), and data masking.
