Role Description
This role involves acting as a visionary and advocate for best DevOps/SRE practices across all engineering teams.
- Designing and maintaining high-load and high-availability infrastructure within Cloud and On-Premise
- Owning and optimizing the cloud part of our infrastructure, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability
- Designing and building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible
- Driving effective observability for the entire platform, integrating monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Collaborating with development teams to design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and associated services
- Implementing robust disaster recovery and failover mechanisms
- Ad-hoc project tasks as per business needs
On-call shifts will begin 4 months after the start of employment. Each shift consists of one 24-hour period every 2 weeks. During non-working hours, the on-call duties involve responding only to super-critical incidents in the production environment (PROD). During business hours, the role also includes assisting with various operational activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash
- Expertise in performance tuning and capacity planning for large-scale distributed systems
- Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Upper Intermediate English level
