Role Description

The role requires extensive experience in cloud technologies and Kubernetes management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, securing, and managing Kubernetes on the cloud at scale
• Experience with messaging and data streaming technologies like Kafka and event hub
• Hands-on and expert knowledge of Linux and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Proficient in modern DevOps programming languages such as Python, Golang, and PowerShell
• Good knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or related tools
• Familiarity with Agile best practices

Requirements

• Kubernetes - 8+ years
• Cloud (Azure) & infra-automation (Terraform, Docker Compose, GitOps, shell scripting) - 5+ years
• Kafka - 3+ years
• Hands-on knowledge of container traffic management tools (Nginx, Istio, etc.)
• Experience with different Kubernetes flavors (Rancher, OpenShift, etc.)
• Experience working with public cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Architect-level cloud certification
• Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKD), Certified Kubernetes Admin (CKA), and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) are a plus
