[Hiring] Senior Infrastructure Engineer @Axion

Role Description

We're seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in shaping and scaling our cloud infrastructure. You'll be responsible for:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Automating deployment workflows
• Ensuring system reliability and security
• Supporting rapid development cycles

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and is excited to build foundational DevOps systems from the ground up. You'll work closely with engineering leadership to drive infrastructure decisions and enable product teams to ship faster with confidence. This person should reside in EST or CST locations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
• Deep hands-on experience with GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, or similar services)
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes — cluster management, networking, scaling, and troubleshooting
• Solid Terraform experience — writing modular, reusable, production-grade infrastructure-as-code
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
• Strong background in observability tooling (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent)
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias toward action
• Experience at a venture-backed startup preferred
• Must be based in the Eastern or Central time zones
