[Hiring] Senior DevOps Engineer @Freedx

Role Description

Freedx is a newly established cryptocurrency exchange focused on building a scalable, compliant, and liquidity driven trading platform. Our team brings deep experience across crypto exchanges, payments, market structure, and financial infrastructure. Freedx is built for serious traders and emerging markets, with a clear focus on unit economics, operational discipline, and sustainable growth.

Freedx aims to be a trusted global exchange by combining strong liquidity, efficient onboarding, and disciplined growth execution. We focus on long term retention and monetization rather than vanity metrics, ensuring that growth directly translates into trading volume, revenue, and profitability.

The ideal candidate is not someone who only knows how to use tools, but someone who understands how systems work under the hood and can make sound technical decisions. This is a senior-level role. We need someone who can independently propose solutions, challenge assumptions, participate in architecture discussions, and take ownership of platform initiatives rather than simply execute predefined tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, troubleshooting network issues).
• Strong Linux and operating system knowledge.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production incidents.
• Understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and SRE principles.
• Experience designing reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
• Ability to investigate complex performance and stability issues under pressure.
• Experience working in fast-paced production environments with high availability requirements is highly desirable.
