Role Description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Prompt Therapy, you will play a crucial role in managing and improving our infrastructure and deployment process, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure for our cloud-based platforms (AWS)
- Create and automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Gitlab / Github Actions)
- Build, maintain, and scale containerized applications with Docker and ECS/Fargate
- Ensure system scalability, availability, and reliability through proactive monitoring and automation
- Troubleshoot issues in both production and development environments
- Work closely with development teams to enhance performance, security, and maintainability
- Manage and optimize infrastructure as code
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role
- Expert knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS / Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and management
- Experience with developer lifecycle methodologies
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Expertise in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc.)
- Proficient with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Requirements
- Experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with PHP
- Knowledge of security best practices and securing cloud environments
- Previous experience with agile methodologies and working in fast-paced environments
