[Hiring] Senior Azure Cloud & Data DevOps Engineer @EPAM

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud & Data DevOps Engineer to drive the design, automation, and optimization of cloud and data platforms, while collaborating closely with architecture teams and stakeholders to ensure robust, scalable, and well-supported solutions.

• Perform hands-on work with advanced Terraform and Azure DevOps pipeline solutions across multiple subscriptions and environments.
• Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders to align on project goals and priorities.
• Work on data workloads performance improvements, monitoring, issue troubleshooting, and prevention.
• Collaborate with the Architecture teams to ensure all aspects of the platform architecture and design standards complement the support model.
• Seek opportunities to optimize activities in the data platforms, support activities, and processes.
• Implement mechanisms to automate and streamline activities, such as administrative tasks, infrastructure, and application deployments.
• Support the platform in partnership with the SRE team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Azure Cloud services (extended support), Azure PowerShell, and Terraform.
• Proficiency in designing and managing Azure DevOps pipeline solutions across multiple subscriptions and environments.
• Skills in communicating with multiple stakeholders across technical and business teams.
• Knowledge of Azure data solutions, including Data Lake Storage, Databricks, ADF, and Synapse Analytics.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, monitoring, and improving performance of data workloads.
• Background in collaborating with Architecture teams on platform design and support models.
• Capability to identify and implement automation opportunities for administrative, infrastructure, and deployment activities.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage.
• Understanding of Azure Synapse Analytics.
