[Hiring] Senior Azure Cloud & Data DevOps Engineer @EPAM Systems

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud & Data DevOps Engineer to join the team working on an Azure data platform. The team implements and supports a wide range of platform aspects, including:

• Infrastructure changes
• Monitoring
• End-to-end tracking
• Automation and self-healing
• Anomaly detection
• Event correlation and analysis
• Performance analysis
• Access permissions management

Responsibilities include:

• Perform hands-on work with advanced Terraform and Azure DevOps pipeline solutions across multiple subscriptions and environments
• Communicate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams
• Work on data workload performance improvements, monitoring, issue troubleshooting, and prevention using Azure data solutions
• Collaborate with Architecture teams to ensure all aspects of the platform architecture and design standards complement the support model
• Seek opportunities to optimize activities in the data platforms, support activities, and processes
• Implement mechanisms to automate and streamline activities, such as administrative tasks, infrastructure, and application deployments
• Partner with the SRE team to support the platform
• Support platform aspects, including end-to-end tracking, anomaly detection, event correlation, and access permissions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Cloud & Data DevOps or similar role
• Expertise in Azure Cloud services (extended support)
• Proficiency in Terraform and Azure PowerShell
• Skills in building and maintaining Azure DevOps pipeline solutions across multiple subscriptions and environments
• Understanding of Azure data solutions to support performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
• Capability to collaborate with Architecture teams on platform design standards and support models
• Strong English communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders (B2 level or higher)

Requirements

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor and Azure DevOps
• Background in Azure SQL Database and Azure Storage
