Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization's network infrastructure in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of network systems that support core business functions. This role requires a proactive professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and a solid understanding of modern networking technologies.

• Configure, manage, and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Ensure network availability, performance, and security across all systems
• Perform network maintenance, upgrades, and patch management
• Monitor network traffic and performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks or vulnerabilities
• Implement and enforce network security protocols and best practices
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
• Manage user access, permissions, and network authentication systems
• Support remote connectivity solutions for distributed teams
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support business needs

Qualifications

• Must be currently residing in the United States
• Valid U.S. work authorization (citizen, permanent resident, or authorized work permit holder)
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, or similar)
• Familiarity with firewall and security technologies
• Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostics
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Requirements

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP)
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards

Work Environment

• Fully remote role with flexible scheduling options
• Must be available to work within U.S. business hours
• Occasional on-call or after-hours support may be required
