Role Description
As our DevSecOps (Development, Security and Operations) Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the security, stability, and scalability of our mission-critical platform and make a significant contribution to the strategic development of our technology infrastructure.

Infrastructure Leadership:
Oversee and enhance our cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Terraform) and software architecture to ensure optimal security and efficiency, while leading modernization and scaling efforts.

Security Champion:
Identify vulnerabilities, and mitigate risks, staying ahead of emerging threats to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance.

System Optimization:
Implement advanced monitoring (Grafana) to continuously track and analyze system performance, optimizing processes to prevent failures and minimize downtime for maximum system visibility.

Strategic Partnership:
Collaborate closely with product development teams to align infrastructure improvements with business objectives and contribute to the strategic direction of IT operations.
Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (or a similar field) and 3+ years of comparable working experience (with at least 1+ years of work on production systems).

Proven experience with our core stack (Google Cloud, Terraform, Grafana).

Background in designing, implementing, and optimizing modern Cloud Architectures.

Expertise in deployment and maintenance of FullStack Applications and AI Systems.

Up-to-date knowledge of modern security threats and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (English working proficiency required).

Experience working effectively within agile, cross-functional teams.
Requirements

Language: English min. C1 must have, German proficiency is a bonus.

Salary range: 50.000€ - 60.000€ per 1 FTE annually.

Working hours: 0,5 to 0,8 FTE (20 to 32 hours per week).

Contract Type: Employment preferred, Freelance possible if conditions are met.
