Role Description

As our DevSecOps (Development, Security and Operations) Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the security, stability, and scalability of our mission-critical platform and make a significant contribution to the strategic development of our technology infrastructure.

• Infrastructure Leadership: Oversee and enhance our cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Terraform) and software architecture to ensure optimal security and efficiency, while leading modernization and scaling efforts.
• Security Champion: Identify vulnerabilities, and mitigate risks, staying ahead of emerging threats to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance.
• System Optimization: Implement advanced monitoring (Grafana) to continuously track and analyze system performance, optimizing processes to prevent failures and minimize downtime for maximum system visibility.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with product development teams to align infrastructure improvements with business objectives and contribute to the strategic direction of IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (or a similar field) and 3+ years of comparable working experience (with at least 1+ years of work on production systems).
• Proven experience with our core stack (Google Cloud, Terraform, Grafana).
• Background in designing, implementing, and optimizing modern Cloud Architectures.
• Expertise in deployment and maintenance of FullStack Applications and AI Systems.
• Up-to-date knowledge of modern security threats and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (English working proficiency required).
• Experience working effectively within agile, cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Language: English min. C1 must have, German proficiency is a bonus.
• Salary range: 50.000€ - 60.000€ per 1 FTE annually.
• Working hours: 0,5 to 0,8 FTE (20 to 32 hours per week).
• Contract Type: Employment preferred, Freelance possible if conditions are met.
