Role Description

Responsibilities include delivering, administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the shared cloud environment. This involves building, configuring, tuning, and implementing automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvement.

• Provide support for the web interface used by customers to access their cloud environment.
• Establish and maintain proficiency in emerging technologies through self-study and on-the-job training.
• Escalate issues and defects as necessary, and work directly with escalation teams (development, network, or engineering) until incidents are fully resolved.
• Provide routine communication with customers regarding progress, status, and root cause analysis.
• Support customers with DNS, IP, and firewall issues related to cloud environments.
• Work directly with architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong systems knowledge (Linux, Unix) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and the OSI model.
