[Hiring] DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer @Nelios

Role Description

At Nelios, we build the digital front door for some of Greece’s most stunning hotels. We are looking for a DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of our cloud and server infrastructure, ensuring that our environments are secure, reliable, scalable, and well-structured.

• Support a diverse portfolio of websites and applications built primarily with PHP (WordPress, Laravel), Node (Strapi, Next), and Python.
• Responsible for Linux server administration, cloud infrastructure, deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, backups, security, DNS, SSL, performance optimization, and incident troubleshooting.
• Introduce stronger standards, improve automation, create clear documentation, and proactively recommend improvements across reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Linux, cloud infrastructure, Nginx/Apache, databases, Git, and deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of AWS, Vercel, Digital Ocean, and Coolify.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Cloudflare, monitoring platforms, Terraform, or Ansible is a strong advantage.
• Combines technical depth with ownership, autonomy, and a continuous improvement mindset.
