[Hiring] Solutions Architect, Data Analytics @Trace3

Role Description

The Analytics Architect serves as a senior, customer-facing technical leader responsible for delivering high-impact analytics architecture, consulting, and project execution, with a primary focus on the State of Colorado’s Office of Information Technology. This role partners closely with state stakeholders to design, implement, and evolve enterprise-scale analytics solutions, acting as a trusted advisor and lead architect throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Support presales efforts across Trace3 Government’s Data & Analytics portfolio.
• Serve as the primary technical resource in solution discussions with customers, account executives, and technology partners.
• Help scope and shape solutions, contributing to service design and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Ensure technical alignment between customer requirements and proposed solutions.
• Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships within the State of Colorado and other strategically important accounts.
• Translate business objectives into effective analytics solutions that improve operational and mission outcomes.
• Lead complex system integrations and develop technical roadmaps that align platform capabilities with long-term customer needs.
• Communicate enterprise analytics best practices and architectural tradeoffs to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience leading enterprise data architecture assessments, design, and build out.
• Minimum of a Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect, preferred Splunk Core Certified Consultant.
• Top Secret security clearance.
• Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Math, or Physics) or equivalent preferred.

• Lead technical discovery and solution shaping in collaboration with account executives, customers, and technology partners.
• Serve as a senior technical resource throughout presales and delivery activities.
• Independently perform complex architecture and consulting activities.
• Lead technical solution definition and service scoping.
• Apply delivery and architectural expertise to improve presales-to-delivery workflows.
• Use a consultative, collaborative approach to bridge account executives, engineering teams, and customers.
• Support strategic account planning and technical execution.
