Role Description

Digital is changing everything about how consumer goods companies go to market. In this role, you will:

• Translate internal briefs into analytical projects (to include refining the initial brief and asking the right questions, working through potential hypothesis and storyboarding the output).
• Conduct analysis using social listening and analytics tools (Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Unmetric, GA etc.) and be comfortable analysing a range of social media and business data.
• Write queries, create rules, custom filters, tags that fetch relevant results to address business questions.
• Arrange a follow-up meeting with internal business partners after they have received their analysis to ensure that it has been helpful, and document any scope for improvements to the service.

Qualifications

• Experience in an analytical role, using analytical tools and providing insight and recommendation based on analysis.
• Experience of insight generation and storytelling in a corporate context, and crafting clear, compelling messaging.
• Preference for data modelling or query building experience.
• Hands-on Expert in each step of the analytical process from ‘Data cleaning’ to ‘Data Exploration/Transformation’ to ‘Data visualisation’ to ‘Insights and Recommended Actions Communication’.
