[Hiring] Senior Staff Business Analyst @Danaher Corporation

Role Description

The Senior Staff Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into technical specifications, focusing on Analytic, Data Science, and Business Intelligence. You will have the opportunity to work across all business functions and with our Data & Analytics experts globally.

This position reports to the Senior Director Data Engineering and is part of the Data Engineering Team, fully remote in the US or on-site in Krakow, Poland.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Engage continuously with stakeholders to understand their business goals and collect requirements.
• Translate these business requirements into user stories and comprehensive functional specifications for data integrations, data modeling, dashboards, and reports for the development team.
• Prioritize these user stories into the right sequence of projects and releases for the team to implement.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver efficient and effective solutions.
• Engage with the Data and Analytics user community to support solution adoption.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Data Engineering environments.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, process modeling, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience leveraging Snowflake and Power BI to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Dashboards or Data Preparation.
• 3 years of experience working in Agile teams that work in sprints.

Requirements

• Ability to travel to Washington DC and global Danaher sites, up to 10%.
