[Hiring] Senior Product Analytics Engineer @Novellia

Role Description

We're looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer who is genuinely obsessed with understanding how people use products. We need someone who partners with product and engineering to figure out what we should be measuring in the first place, and then builds the infrastructure to measure it reliably, rather than just someone who builds pipelines.

• Own analytics engineering as it relates to product and growth.
• Primary stakeholders are product and product design.
• Define what good product analytics looks like at Novellia.
• Build the clean, reliable infrastructure that powers product and growth decisions.
• Work alongside analytics engineers on the team who own clinical and research data.
• Report directly to the Manager, Data and Analytics.
• Set the standard for how we instrument and measure our product.
• Influence product direction through the quality and clarity of your work.

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months):

• Clear picture of product metrics and funnels.
• Product and product design treat you as a core member of the team.
• Shared understanding of core product and growth metrics.
• Clean, documented dbt models.
• Product decisions grounded in data.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a closely related data role.
• Experience at a consumer-facing company.
• Startup experience.
• Strong SQL and dbt skills.
• Hands-on experience with Mixpanel.
• Proven track record of working directly with product managers and designers.
• Strong intuition for engagement and retention.
• Experience with our stack or something close to it: BigQuery, dbt, Stitch, and Hex.
• Clear communicator who can translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High ownership mindset.
• Comfortable using AI tools to move faster.
• Experience designing or supporting A/B tests.

Requirements

• Experience in healthcare or digital health (bonus).
• Familiarity with healthcare data formats like FHIR or CCDA (bonus).
• Experience with NLP or working with unstructured clinical text (bonus).
• Contributions to open-source data projects (bonus).
• Experience with mobile analytics instrumentation (bonus).
• A track record of building self-serve dashboards (bonus).
• Familiarity with structured growth frameworks, North Star metrics, or AARRR (bonus).
