Role Description

The Senior Manager of Financial Intelligence and Data Analytics is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of data systems and analytical processes that drive financial decision-making. This role integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and automation to enhance data quality, speed, and insight delivery, while ensuring compliance and governance.

Work Location: Fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a data strategy aligned with business goals, leveraging AI-driven analytics to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain robust data sets from multiple sources to support financial intelligence initiatives.
• Develop and maintain finance data models, dashboards, and reports to meet business and reporting needs.
• Apply statistical methods, modeling, and AI/ML techniques to detect anomalies, forecast performance, and support strategic planning.
• Lead and build a high-performing technical team, providing direction, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business analytics, statistics, computer science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in financial analytics, data management, or related roles; 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools, data warehouses, BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, SAS), and automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
• Strong quantitative aptitude, ability to interpret complex datasets, and present findings effectively.
• Leadership, strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and change management.

Requirements

• Minimum base salary range: $132,232 - $176,310 in various states.
• Higher salary ranges for specific states: $138,844 - $185,124 and $145,456 - $193,940.
