Role Description

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in facilities, plant, industrial, or manufacturing operations, engineering, or controls.
• Deep cooling systems expertise including chiller plant fundamentals and applied thermodynamics.
• Strong Python skills with Pandas and NumPy for custom analysis on industrial time-series data.
• Proven experience as a senior individual contributor across multiple concurrent sites or projects.
• Relentless curiosity about system failures and a preference for solving live problems.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative mindset, treating peers as fellow experts.
• Familiarity with AI tools, using them strategically.
• Preferred educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Theory, or related fields.

Requirements

• Experience with time-series data from industrial sensors like SCADA, BMS, and historians.
• Knowledge of industrial control protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
• Experience in Data Centers, district energy, thermal storage, or large-scale thermal systems.
• Customer-facing or multi-site role experience with ownership of outcomes.
• Experience with optimization problems in a thermal or controls context.
• Mentoring experience with analysts or engineers newer to data work.
