[Hiring] Senior Data Integrity Specialist @CommonSpirit Health

Role Description

As our Senior Data Integrity Specialist, you will meticulously prepare statistics and daily productivity reports, alongside ongoing financial analysis and reporting.

• Support the preparation of the annual operating budget.
• Conduct variance analysis.
• Train managers and directors on financial concepts.
• Develop/prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports.
• Work routine potential duplicate work queues including but not limited to:
  • Mark for Merge
  • Duplicate Warning Override Reports
  • Demographic Change Reports
• Complete all types of tasks based on workflow to research and resolve potential duplicates and overlays.
• Investigate and perform chart corrections.
• Complete unmerging of records when required.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as instructed.
• Provide training and guidance to others regarding duplicate medical record prevention and corrections.

This position has the ability to work remote 100% for Colorado residents; however, will have to go on-site (Mineral campus in Centennial Co.) for in-person meetings and/or if experiencing Internet or computer issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of health information management, patient access, or billing experience.
• Experience with the electronic health record (EHR) and health information systems and applications.
• Knowledge in health care compliance, HIPAA privacy and confidentiality laws.
• Demonstrated computer aptitude on healthcare-related applications.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Requirements

• Preferred Associate Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Training in medical terminology.
• AHIMA credential – RHIA, RHIT.
• Experience with Epic.
