[Hiring] Senior Dashboard Developer @General Dynamics Information Technology

Role Description

Our work is looking for a Dashboard Developer to help us support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Dashboard Developer you will be trusted to work with meaningful data, highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detected in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists as well as managers to collect requirements, understand needs, and convert into visualizations.
• Converting raw data into compelling dashboards that enable efficient decision making.
• Maintaining and updating existing dashboards as needed, and train on how best to interact with them.
• Performing quality checks on visualizations for data accuracy.
• Presenting monthly visualizations at large meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science (or related field of study) and 3-5 years of related experience.
• Must have experience and working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid.
• Must have experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience with Tableau and PowerBI.
• Familiarity with SQL, understanding of data modeling, and experience working with large datasets.
• Ability to create data visualizations to present complex analyses and to illustrate trends.
• Familiarity with R or Python for data science.
• Knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards.
• Ability to obtain a Public trust and must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years.
