Role Description

Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team of talented consultants providing support to Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)’s transformation initiatives across their enterprise. This individual will support senior leadership and a project team to solve and streamline organizational business problems, analyze data and propose recommendations, and develop & track key metrics and performance indicators.

• Integrate in team environment researching, data gathering, reporting/briefing, developing strategies.
• Coordinate and assist with preparation and submission of contract deliverables.
• Conduct project planning and develop/maintain execution schedule.
• Define processes and procedures governing effective/efficient project execution.
• Develop reporting formats for tracking project progress (e.g., actual vs. planned completions, rework statistics, productivity rates, etc.) and ensure timely submission of completed reports at client specified frequency.
• Keep Nakupuna leadership abreast of project execution, and any issues (e.g., production, equipment/facilities, manpower, etc.) of potential impact to achievement of client requirements/deliverables or requirements exceeding defined scope of work.
• Resolving issues that arise during development.

Qualifications

• Expertise and experience with data analytics and Navy Supply.
• Experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles and has demonstrated managerial and supervisory skills.
• Preferred: Knowledge of management and operations of Navy Supply.
• Experience performing complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, communication techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems is desirable.
• Experience using advanced features of Microsoft PowerPoint (experience with Microsoft SharePoint is desired; experience with data analytics tools preferred).
• At least five (5) years of experience as an analyst of which at least 3 years must be specialized in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline.
• BS or BA degree are required. An AS or AA degree and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.

Requirements

• Location: Mechanicsburg, PA or Philadelphia, PA; remote applicants will be considered if willing to travel ~60-70%.
• Position will require access to a military installation or a government facility. Candidate must be able to qualify for and maintain a Common Access Card.
• This position requires an active SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
