Role Description

The project brings together business transformation, insurance domain expertise, and advanced AI technologies. As part of the team, you will work closely with insurance stakeholders and technical delivery squads to identify valuable AI opportunities and translate complex business needs into solutions that can be successfully designed, developed, and implemented.

The Role - Senior Business Analyst with a strong understanding of insurance business processes and experience working closely with technical delivery teams. You will act as a key interface between insurance business stakeholders and AI/technical squads, translating complex business requirements, workflows, and legacy insurance rules into clear functional requirements and actionable user stories.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong analytical, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and process-mapping capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with insurance business units and stakeholders to identify, assess, prioritize, and define high-impact AI and automation use cases.
• Translate complex insurance business requirements, processes, and legacy business rules into detailed functional requirements, specifications, and user stories.
• Map and analyze end-to-end insurance workflows, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities for AI-driven automation.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and collaborative solution-design sessions between business stakeholders and technical delivery squads.
• Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring technical teams have a clear understanding of the underlying business problem and expected outcomes.
• Define clear and measurable acceptance criteria and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) requirements.
• Validate that delivered AI solutions and models meet agreed business requirements and performance targets.
• Conduct gap analysis to ensure new AI capabilities integrate effectively with existing processes, systems, and customer-facing channels.
• Support stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements definition through implementation, testing, and acceptance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally within the insurance industry.
• Solid understanding of insurance business processes, workflows, rules, and customer journeys.
• Strong experience with requirements gathering and functional requirements definition.
• Proven ability to translate complex business problems into clear user stories, use cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong experience with business process mapping and process optimization.
• Experience conducting gap analysis and identifying opportunities for process automation.
• Hands-on experience with UAT planning, acceptance criteria definition, and solution validation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements discussions.
• Ability to communicate complex business requirements clearly to engineering, data, and AI teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent professional English and confidence working in an international environment.
