Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our data team. As part of this role, you’ll work closely with data engineers, analysts and key business stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for building and owning data models, researching and analysing developments in the blockchain staking industry, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders across the organisation.
- Building scalable data models to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, using advanced SQL skills
- Using your knowledge of blockchain technology, particularly staking and rewards, to create metrics and monitor performance
- Developing clear, impactful dashboards with modern analytics tools to meet both technical and business needs
- Driving excellence in analytics engineering through code reviews, testing, documentation, and observability
- Keeping up with emerging crypto protocols and technologies to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an analytics engineer with a portfolio of impactful applications
- Expertise in SQL, Python and dbt
- Experience using OLAP systems and data warehouses
- Proficiency building dashboards in BI tools
- Background in mathematics, statistics, or engineering with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in the crypto industry, with a deep understanding of blockchain technology and staking mechanisms
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Deep expertise in blockchain data analytics, particularly around staking, restaking, MEV, and validator rewards
- A proven track record of architecting scalable and efficient data modelling strategies across an organisation
- Experience in creating semantic layers for consistent and intuitive data access for stakeholders
