[Hiring] Senior Analyst, Enterprise Reporting & Analytics @Elastic

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Analyst of Enterprise Reporting to join our growing team. The Enterprise Reporting & Analytics team, within the CFO organization, is responsible for the consistent availability and reliability of enterprise data assets and key business metrics across the company.

• Partner closely with various Finance functional teams to provide support in planning, forecasting, and performance evaluations.
• Own and manage certified reporting data assets used across the company, including by RevOps, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
• Focus on business intelligence, metrics, and reporting.
• Take projects from end to end: understand the business question, shape the underlying data model, build and validate the reporting solution, and maintain and improve it over time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or data modeling.
• Experience supporting Finance, Revenue, Go-to-Market, or other enterprise business functions is preferred.
• 4+ years of Tableau experience, including data-source development, measure definition, dashboard design, and ongoing dashboard maintenance.
• Experience with Sigma or other modern BI tools is a plus.
• 4+ years of SQL experience and hands-on experience with BigQuery (or similar cloud data platforms) for data transformation and analytical data modeling.
• Practical experience building data pipelines with dbt and managing collaborative version control using Git is a plus.
• Ability to translate business needs into reliable data models, metrics, analysis, and reporting.
• Expert visual judgment and familiarity with modern dashboard design principles.
• A proactive, self-directed working style.
• Openness to new tools and approaches, including AI-assisted development and analytics workflows.
• Robust communication skills and the ability to work proficiently with both technical and business partners in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• Manage reporting and analytics projects from start to finish.
• Gather requirements, transform data, deliver dashboards, validate results, and enable stakeholders.
• Build and improve analytical data models and transformations in BigQuery.
• Develop clear, intuitive Tableau, Sigma, and other reporting experiences.
• Support data certification, metric definition, documentation, and data-quality monitoring.
• Perform quantitative analysis and data mining to identify insights beyond the immediate request.
• Improve existing reports, data models, and workflows for accuracy, usability, performance, and maintainability.
