Role Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Data Migration Consultant to support data migration activities for Zoetis. The consultant will be responsible for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on SAP BODS experience, expertise in end-to-end data migration processes, and the ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely migration.

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
• Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, mapping, and loading from legacy systems into SAP environments.
• Support end-to-end data migration activities, including mock loads, cutover preparation, and production migration.
• Develop and execute data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Work with SAP functional teams to understand data requirements, mapping rules, and business processes.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, migration failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, data mapping documents, migration logs, and reconciliation reports.
• Support migration testing, defect resolution, and post-migration validation.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to meet migration milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of SAP technical experience, with strong hands-on expertise in SAP BODS.
• Experience with SAP data migration projects.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data profiling, cleansing, and transformation.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA data structures.
• Experience with data mapping, migration testing, and reconciliation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, or other migration tools.
• Experience with master data and transactional data migration.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting SAP implementation, upgrade, or transformation programs.

Engagement

• 6-month contract, with potential extension subject to project needs.
