Role Description
This position will support the Publix Beauty & Personal Care team by providing proactive analysis and insight of business trends, submitting contracts and forms, monitoring business performance, and identifying opportunities and risks impacting the business. This is a developmental role, and successful candidates typically progress to business manager roles thus making business development understanding crucial to success in this role.
- Advanced skills in analysis, project management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office with exceptional Excel skills.
- Quickly become proficient in Merlin SSAS, IRI Market Share, Numerator, Publix Vendor Portal, Promo Point Portal, and others.
- Responsible for weekly analysis and reporting of sales trends, shopper analysis, competitive activity, and creating actionable insights.
- Regularly meet customer deadlines for monthly contract submissions and other ad hoc requests.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet cyclical and ad hoc deadlines.
- Ability to retrieve and analyze data from multiple sources and connect data points to identify emerging trends.
- Strong sense of accountability and responsibility to the business.
- Focus on continuous improvement and elimination of non-value-added work.
- Effective communicator with problem-solving skills.
- Computer skills required: Excel & Power Point.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with IRI data, Publix Vendor Portal, and Promo Point platforms are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
