As a Data Analyst II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to:

• Collect requirements
• Analyze data
• Develop scalable solutions using advanced analytics tools

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI
• Identify trends and discover opportunities for improvement through SQL queries and data analysis
• Make data-driven recommendations that impact key performance indicators and strategic initiatives
• Maintain the highest standards of data quality and integrity
• Enhance processes, automate workflows, and implement innovative solutions
• Serve as a technical resource for stakeholders, providing training and support

Qualifications

• MS/MA degree in computer science, epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field is required
• In some cases, an equivalency of education, training and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years experience with a bachelor degree OR 1 year of experience with a master's degree
• Experience in quantitative methods in the statistical analysis of clinical data using SAS (e.g., SAS Base, SAS Stat, SAS Macro) is required
• Experience and working knowledge of CDISC standards and ability to deliver projects with SDTM/ADaM is required
• Experience programming in R is required
• Experience and working knowledge of regulatory submissions (NDA, BLA) is preferred
• Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries and manipulate large datasets
• Experience with data visualization best practices and dashboard development
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced functions
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting methodologies
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehouse concepts
• Programming skills in Python, R or similar languages preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
