[Hiring] Product Support Analyst @R1 RCM

Role Description

The Product Support Analyst collects, reconciles, organizes, validates, and analyzes healthcare data used in data-processing workflows. The role monitors and maintains data imported to and exported from R1 workflow systems and supports the associated database platform. The analyst helps ensure that data is accurate, complete, timely, and handled in accordance with company and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain workflows, schedules, and metrics governing data movement to and from multiple R1 workflow systems using established tools and processes.
• Perform daily file and account maintenance, monitoring, and backup coordination.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database workflow systems and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Validate and process source data files and support data input and output across systems and applications.
• Assist with month-end closing processes.
• Identify, research, and help resolve data variances between client systems and R1 systems to support accurate and timely account resolution.
• Audit client data, data processes, and client statements; document findings and provide clear feedback.
• Troubleshoot data irregularities and provide direction toward resolution.
• Communicate data variances, impacts, status, and resolution accurately and promptly to the appropriate partners.
• Complete assigned tasks and processes in accordance with documented requirements and expected results.
• Create and support operational reports, statistics, and metrics.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures as client or process workflows change.
• Participate in team meetings, new initiatives, and the development of more efficient and standardized workflows.
• Follow company, client, and industry data-handling policies and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Perform other innovative and progressive projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications, including formulas, functions, queries, filtering, and data analysis.
• Ability to identify discrepancy patterns and prioritize resolution activities.
• Experience reading and interpreting file format specifications.
• Experience performing data-quality checks, validations, and quality-assurance activities.
• Experience manually extracting, transforming, and loading data into operational systems.
• Experience using extract, transform, and load (ETL) solutions.
• Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to extract and manipulate data from a database.
• Strong research, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills related to data-integration issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication, listening, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to learn and use multiple technology resources.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Close attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when managing complex processes, decisions, and confidential or sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with healthcare data.
• Understanding the healthcare revenue cycle and healthcare transaction sets.
• Experience reading and interpreting data-mapping documents.
• Experience driving standardization and ongoing data quality improvements.
• Experience with data management systems, including SQL-based platforms.

Compensation

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $18.28 - $26.24 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
