Role Description
This position is responsible for working closely with management to execute analytical initiatives.
- Provide thought leadership & strategic thinking to solve business problems using techniques such as segmentation, optimization, advanced analytics, and machine learning.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure goals are met and course correct as necessary.
- Manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues to management.
- Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and independently recommend actions and provide business insights.
- Operate as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test design, analysis methodology, modeling & application, and financial impact analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and complete end-to-end analysis.
- Facilitate implementation of work products and ensure accuracy.
- Establish and maintain effective performance tracking; identify improvement opportunities, form hypotheses, propose, design, and implement tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization.
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics, and machine learning algorithms.
- Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership.
- Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale.
- Follow standard work processes and documentation requirements.
- Recommend improvements to work processes to increase efficiency while maintaining quality of work.
- Continuously improve technical and leadership skills through training and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, Marketing Analytics, Optimization, Operations Analytics, Modeling/Data Science, or related fields.
Requirements
- Primarily remain in a stationary position.
- No required movement about the work environment to complete the major responsibilities of the job.
- Primarily performed indoors in an office setting.
- Ability to operate office equipment such as computer, telephone, printer, and calculator.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
