[Hiring] Manager, Global Trade Data & Automation @RTX

Role Description

We have an exciting remote work opportunity for a Manager, Global Trade (GT) Data & Automation, to join our team!

In this role as a Manager, GT Data & Automation you will work collaboratively with the Program Management Office (PMO), Global Trade Program Support (GTPS), Audit, Investigations & Disclosure, and Central Technology Management (CTM) teams to develop dashboards, websites, and support data analysis, health monitoring, and other key data management tasks. This role will report to the GT Program Management Office (PMO).

Key responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and SharePoint environments to track KPIs and business performance.
• Collaborate closely with the GT Program Management, Investigations & Disclosures and Audits and Corrective Actions teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze data using statistical and mathematical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field and 8+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics, including proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, and experience with data transformation projects (ETL), Data modelling, SQL, SharePoint (Lists, governance, etc.), Power Automate, Power App, Snowflake and Databricks;
• OR an Advanced degree with 5+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics, that also includes proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, and experience with data transformation projects (ETL), Data modelling, SQL, SharePoint (Lists, governance, etc.), Power Automate, Power App, Snowflake and Databricks.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Work experience in roles that ensure compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations.
• Experience in large-scale digital transformation initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong organizational skills, including experience communicating and presenting to multiple levels of the organization.
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, manage crisis, and develop effective networks with internal customers and ability to collaborate with multiple business functions for success.
