[Hiring] Manager, Data Science - AI Product @Figma

Role Description

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. The AI Products Data Science org is at the center of next generation products within Figma. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

• Lead, support, and grow a team of data scientists and data science managers with varied strengths and expertise focused on product strategy, internal tooling, and impact measurement.
• Champion data quality, accessibility, and the democratization of data across the company.
• Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a positive work environment in partnership with other leaders in the organization.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Sales, Marketing, or Finance to drive impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing and leading high-output data science teams, including scaling teams in high-growth environments.
• 7+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, with experience working on AI tools or collaborative software.
• Strong foundation in statistical methods, experimentation, and/or forecasting.
• Technical curiosity with a willingness to continuously learn and grow alongside your team.
• A demonstrated desire to build an inclusive and diverse culture.

Requirements

• While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have experience owning 0 to 1 product areas.
• Experience growing junior data science leaders.

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified based on various factors.

Annual Base Salary Range: $235,000 — $348,000 USD
