Role Description

Your future role at a glance:

• Location: Remote
• Department: Ascension Data Science Institute
• Schedule: Full time, Summer Internship
• Salary: $17.37 - $23.50 per hour

How you’ll make an impact in this role:

• Assists in creation of reporting and analytic packages, querying various types of healthcare data.
• Provide research and administrative assistance for special projects as assigned.
• Analyze reports to measure utilization, cost, and descriptive statistics.
• Reviews information for accuracy and reconciles data.
• Conducts and synthesizes market research and benchmarks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
• Progress towards (or completion of) Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a healthcare-related field is strongly preferred.
• Healthcare industry knowledge, such as managed care and value-based care concepts, population health, and healthcare economics is strongly preferred.
• Prior internship experience in a healthcare organization is preferred.
