Role Description

We’re looking for an Insights & Strategy Lead to own our Car Insurance and Financial Services verticals.

Here's how you'll impact the company:

• Drive account revenue growth through data-driven upselling and optimisation:
  • Partner closely with Customer Success to identify and quantify high-impact upsell opportunities.
  • Build compelling data-driven sales materials.
  • Maintain critical business intelligence on key accounts to inform expansion strategies.
• AI fluency:
  • Proactively explore ways to use AI tools to deepen your analysis and improve team workflows.
  • Know when and where to use AI tools to accelerate great judgment.
• Shape and execute vertical strategy through deep vertical expertise and problem-solving:
  • Monitor industry trends.
  • Develop intelligence on vertical business models and unit economics.
  • Present actionable growth strategies to Marketplace leadership.
• Deliver analytics and operational support that strengthens customer relationships:
  • Own reporting, billing, conversion rate updates, and campaign QA in collaboration with Ad Ops.
  • Support Customer Success with client performance materials.
• Strengthen the broader team's analytical foundation:
  • Contribute to dashboards and tooling.
  • Identify and resolve data issues with Data Science.
  • Help drive continuous improvements to Insights processes and systems.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in an analytically driven role (Business Analysis, Product Analytics, etc.). Experience in client-facing roles is a plus.
• Analytical storytelling: You synthesize data into clear narratives with actionable recommendations.
• SQL and Excel proficiency: Demonstrated ability to build analyses from scratch and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Comfortable working with AI tools: You’ll be expected to use AI tools to deepen your analysis and improve team workflows.
• Problem solving: You tackle ambiguous problems by applying first principles thinking to break them into manageable components and get to a clear point of view.
• Curiosity: You love learning the why behind observations and data, and you're energized by becoming a subject matter expert in your vertical.
• Communication and stakeholder management: You present recommendations clearly and concisely to both internal and external audiences, and adapt your style to the room.
• Collaboration: You build strong relationships across teams, go out of your way to support teammates, and engage productively in live discussion and debate.
• Results orientation: You prioritize effectively, have a strong bias for action, and hold yourself accountable to revenue outcomes.

• Marketplace experience preferred but not required; car insurance or financial services background is a plus.

• Compensation for this position includes base salary and a performance-based bonus. The expected base salary for the role is $120,000 - $160,000. The total on-target earnings (OTE) is $132,000 - $176,000.
