[Hiring] Healthcare Data Analyst Intern @Principle Health Systems

Role Description

• Assist in gathering, structuring, and analyzing large and complex data sets from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends.
• Assist in health care claims analysis for the identification of billing opportunities.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of dashboards and reports for external or internal reporting purposes.
• Produce effective professional presentations of data and analyses.
• Assist in automating report and dashboard delivery.
• Perform data integrity checks between databases.
• Run reports from databases and prepare spreadsheets for reporting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or Business.
• 0-3 years’ experience (Healthcare/Medical background a plus); no experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Sufficient written and verbal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Must be able to problem solve and adjust priorities with little advance notice to meet deadlines and requests.
• Basic proficiency in SQL, ability to use AI to build SQL queries.
• Basic proficiency in PowerBI.
• Understanding of statistics.
